Magazine and newspaper companies are taking advantage of the Cyber Monday shopping frenzy to get subscription deals in front of consumers.
As publishers struggle to compete with the duopoly of Google and Facebook for digital advertising dollars, digital subscription revenue is proving to be an important revenue generator.
Amazon has Cyber Monday magazine deals starting from $5 for subscriptions to various publications, including Meredith Corp., Condé Nast, Trusted Media Brands, Hearst and Bonnier.
For $5, consumers can get subscriptions to magazines such as Reader’s Digest, The Family Handyman, Allrecipes, Better Homes & Gardens, Taste of Home, Family Circle, Martha Stewart Living, Parents, Allure and Brides.
